About Us - CEO Message

For Tomorrow's Smiles

We want to support you as you do your best

Thank you for visiting our website.

My name is Nahoko Ishikawa, CEO of Sixth Sense Lab Co., Ltd.

I founded the company at age 43 (currently 59, as of 2024). Before starting my own business, I worked at an advertising agency managing mail-order businesses. At that time, most executives were men, and many mail-order companies focused solely on "selling" products aimed at women. They spent large sums on flashy packaging and celebrity endorsements while neglecting product quality and customer feedback. I felt a strong sense of discomfort with this situation.

The Catalyst for Starting My Business

The major event that inspired me to start my own company was the birth of my long-awaited first daughter. The joy of her birth was short-lived—she developed severe atopic dermatitis. At the time, information about atopy was limited, and I had no one to turn to. Driven by anxiety and frustration, I researched every book I could find, spending each day in trial and error.

"Could my poor internal health have contributed to my daughter's atopy?"

I began to believe that my diet might have been the cause of my daughter's condition. I completely overhauled our diet, choosing only pesticide-free, additive-free ingredients. I also switched our household products to natural alternatives, avoiding chemical substances as much as possible. I spent countless hours searching for unfamiliar ingredients and struggled with the high costs. Those around me said, "That won't make any difference," and I often felt isolated and hopeless. But I never gave up.

The Decision and the Challenge of Product Development

"Products I can truly believe in, for everyone who is doing their best."

At 42, I decided to start my own business and founded Sixth Sense Lab Co., Ltd. Drawing from my experience with childbirth, I dedicated myself to developing products using natural ingredients under the concept of "gentle to the body and the earth." We select evidence-based ingredients from around the world, using only materials that pass pesticide residue testing and various safety standards. All products are manufactured in GMP-certified facilities under strict quality control.

"Something that my family can use with confidence, day after day."

That is our commitment to product development.

In the early days, we faced numerous challenges—lack of funding, technical issues, and more. But we never gave up, continuing to move forward one step at a time.

"I want to create products that truly consider people's health."

Years of tireless effort bore fruit, and we earned the support of many customers. Our company stands alongside those facing various challenges in their daily lives, delivering joy, peace of mind, and hope.

The Challenge for the Future Continues

However, our challenge for the future has only just begun. There are many people who feel physically and mentally unwell amid the demands of housework, careers, childcare, and caregiving—yet they persevere through multiple roles every day. There may be nights when you hit a wall, feel alone, and shed tears.

But please never forget: you are not alone. We wholeheartedly support you.
